Re: planting preparation

The following link will get you to a copy of the label to see what forbs are
listed as tolerant. In addition the label provides information regarding
different plants tolerance to Plateau at different rates and whether they
are tolerant to pre or post emergent applications. Along with many other
tips on controlling weeds in specific situations on specific species.

According to American Cyanamid's literature there are over 40 labeled forbs,
though quite a few are non native plants we'd rather not use. However there
are several natives on the label.

Sedges are on the label but as controlled species.

I believe I stated in one of my earlier postings that Plateau is not the
panacea for all of our/your native grass plantings. However it is a good
tool to use when applied properly. When you understand what you can and
can't do with it, it just gives you more options.
