Using prairie plants in retention basins

I have a person in North Texas in the City of Frisco who is looking for
assistance in finding information on any research that is available on
planting prairie plants in detention basins and he is looking for any examples
or case studies where this has been successfully done. He spoke to a person at
Native American Seed www.seedsource.com who said it would help absorb runoff
and reduce pollutant loads. Do you know of anyone else who is doing this? I
appreciate your help.
