RE: Two lists or not ...Need digest version

My understanding of a digest is a compiled list of emails posted to a
listserv for a given period (day or week typically) that is then emailed to
the recipients rather than having each individual email sent to them. An
archive is a listing of previously posted emails that is posted on a
website. As you have given before, the address for the Prairie listserv
archive is http://www.mallorn.com/lists/prairie/
It looks like Mallorn can do digest versions, but this has not been set up
for the prairie listserv.

Hi Bill,

When requesting a digest version, do you mean an archive? Or is this
something else?

Tina and Group,

Thank you Tina for taking on a listserv and the folk at Mallorn for the
Prairie List, but....

I don't care which listserv survives this discussion, as long as all the
topics are open to discussion and...the survivor has a digest version! This
really helps busy people subscribing to a busy list.

prairies@egroups.com since the former site was already set up. I think this
is the best solution, esp. since the mallorn site does not have heavy email
traffic (about 2-3 message per day for me so far).
