Re: Wood Lily planting


I'm no Lily expert, but I hazard that your garden may be confused!  Lily
seeds planted fresh just under the soil will germinate, and over the years
will pull themselves deeper.  Many other bulbs do that.  If you are
propagating lilies from their scales, plant them upright with just the tip
above ground.

If anybody else knows better, please ignore this effort;  I'm only trying to
help.    Geoff
