yes, down here it is on moist year-round sites;  one on a seep, another in a
shallow swamp, probably spring-fed.  i got my 16ft 1in by intensive
irrigation.   geoff

In southern and western Missouri, H. grosseserratus usually grows in
draws and swales, where it survives droughts quite well. I cooler
northern areas, it's less restricted but still favors the wetter
sites. Good luck with future introduction attempts.
