North American Prairie

For a quick reply the book was mainly about the composition of prairies in Western Iowa, Eastern Nebraska and other nearby areas.  NE Kansas and perhaps SD.  There was also chapters about species that would increase and or decrease under drought and grazing and then recovery from those disturbances.  It hit nearly dead center to some of my interests but was sadly lacking the exact locations of the perhaps 200 sites studied and perhaps worse, the species lists found at each site which I gather were noted upon examination.
