Here
is a couple of links to the exhibit called Listening to the Prairie: Farming in
Nature's Image complete with the tour schedule.
Here
is an excerpt from the American Library Association website that explains the
exhibit (although some of the listed links within the ALA do not
work):
Although every American depends in some way on the central region of North America for food and fiber, few give much thought to where and how their food is produced, or to the economic, ecological and social costs of production. Listening to the Prairie: Farming in Nature's Image is a new traveling exhibition for public and academic libraries that closely examines this region and it's transformation from grassland plains to cropland and grazing pastures, making it one of the world's most productive agricultural regions. Listening to the Prairie is sponsored by the National Museum of Natural History (NMNH) of the Smithsonian Institution and the American Library Association's Public Programs Office. The exhibit and tour are funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.

Smithsonian prairie ecosystem exhibit in Texas . I have persued
two paths to get any info on other locations where this exhibit will be set
up. I asked the poster of the Texas info and I spent two hours in the
Smithsonian website. I finally sent an email to Smithsonian and got no
answer.
Does anyone know anything about this?
