Re: volunteer help

Carmen,
Our neighborhood went together and bought 12 acres to set aside for
posterity(?). We planted 6 acres to trees, 2 acres to grass (as a play
area), left 2 acres alone, and planted the last 2 to prairie. We were
helped by a boy scout troup, one of whom was an applicant to become an
eagle scout. They and their parents spent parts of three days mulching
trees with us. 
I would think that pay would be an incentive, especially for a small
group interested in prairie.
