In our experience here in a major university town, some of the local 
fraternities are always looking for "service" opportunities and are quite 
willing to donate a half-day of hands-on work.  However, they are totally 
ignorant of praries, etc, and require both some training and some supervision-
-you can't just turn 'em loose!
