Grand Canyon (January 11, 2000)-- Conservation groups are applauding President Clinton today as he used his presidential authority to create three and expand a fourth National Monument.  The largest of the new monuments is the Grand Canyon-Parashant National Monument that encompasses more than one million acres of public land lying north and west of Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona.
