Re: Arnold Davis passes away

I hope the surviving Davises and Ms Wright will take no offense that
I was at first a little mystified by the detailed funeral announcement
for Arnold Davis on the prairie list, a rather unorthodox use of the
medium. Nevertheless, I can at least send condolences for their
loss.

I hope that, for those of us who are unfamiliar with Mr. Davis's work
with prairies, they or some of his colleagues will provide a review of
his endeavors in this field, to help us bettter understand the loss.
