Larry,

I would check the label first for toxic ingredients, but you might try
adding just a small amount of windshield washer fluid to your mix.  It
should easily lower the freezing point since as a straight solution it does
not freeze even at -30 degrees F.  I'd try a 10 or 15% solution.
