FYI,
I have friends who are always on the lookout for prairie-related books.
They report that Old Books West (Oldbkswest@aol.com) has a book which is
apparently hard to find.

preliminary pages. DJ spine lightly rippled.
Comprehensive analysis of the environment of America's heartland state,
Kansas. Natural elements of geography - landforms, climate, soils,
natural vegetation, native animals, mineral and water resources.
