General Manager position opening at Ion Exchange

MANAGEMENT POSITION OPEN AT ION EXCHANGE

Ion Exchange, one of the Midwest's largest mail-order, native seed and
plant nurseries, is seeking a self-motivated, experienced professional to
fill our soon-to-be-vacant General Manager position.  Responsiblities will
include working with seed and plant production managers to maintain
efficient and profitable operations, and knowledgably handling sales,
customer service and marketing.

The applicant must have experience in and knowledge of the Midwest native
plant industry and a proven ability to communicate effectively about native
plants and their use in the landscape.  Must be able to initiate ideas and
make decisions independently, and interact well with customers and
employees.  Computer experience and strong organizational skills are
essential.
