Pooring just-boiled water (!) over Baptisia seeds and letting them
soak over night, then sowing them with proper innoculant (available
from some native plant nurseries) yields good results with B.
leucantha (white) and B. australis (blue), but spottier results with
B. leucophaea (cream). Knicking the seed coat with sandpaper or a
small file seems to help with the latter. The species you mention
should work like one of the above.
