Re: Fate of Durbin Amendment?

The amendment passed on a 96 to 1 vote.

Progress can be gained or lost in conference committee.   Staff of both
the House and Senage conferees have already started to work-out
differences and reconcile the two bills.  That will continue next week,
likely proceeding to conservation elements.

Both Congress and the White House have expressed  desire to have a
done-deal Farm Bill by spring planting time.  An early April Farm Bill
is likely.
