Re: chemical weed control


Plateau can be used for prairie grasses and forbs, but please consult the
label.  There are approximately only 30 forbs tolerant to Plateau.  Choose
your species carefully, and do test applications.  Prairie seed is too
expensive to take chances.  Local ecotype seed may react differently than
others.  All the more reason to be cautious.  However, Plateau has gotton
very good response.  We hope to do species specific trials this year.
