Carmassia Scilloides
I located a patch of this where there were hundreds scattered about. I was
unable to 'mark' the spot at that time. I went back to the approximate spot a
mere 7 days later, and could not find a single flowering plant or find any
plants at all. :-(
Can someone pass on some comments on this species and offer suggestions on its
'disappearance'?
The only difference between the 2 days was that is was 20 degrees cooler when I
went back to 'mark the spot' so I could collect the seeds later....
Location: Central Illinois
Thanks
