The Earth Partnership Program lists an activity to determine temperatures in
a prairie fire using heat sensitive paints (Tempilac). You can learn more

Subject: Temperature Sensors for Prairie Burns
Hello,
Someone attended a prairie burn where they were measuring the
temperature of the fire.
They were using a special type of temperature sensor to take the
readings.
Does anyone know what type of sensors they were using and where to
purchase them?
Thanks,
Ruth Green
