Re: to trim or not ???


In general, fall burning and not burning will favor forbs. Trimming the 
dead grass will not have a lot of effect on this year's vegetation, but 
you might prefer it aesthetically. Note that some flowers, such as 
black-eyed Susan and most Coreopsis species (but not C. 
palmata), will naturally decline as the planting matures.
