Alan,
By all means! I have visited eastern Montana in the spring [but I don't
know what it looks like in July] however, spring is incredible. Fallon
County in eastern Montana and Custer County to the west display some amazing
almost alpine like flora. You can fly into Miles City and drive east to
Plevna, most of that area time has forgotten and there are some incredible
prairies still there. I went in May to find a homestead site my grandfather
settled and it was quite magical.
