Greetings all!
I am looking for information on the rattlesnake master borer moth
(Papaipema eryngii) whose host plant I assume is Eryngium yuccifolium or
some other species in the genus. From an article in The Nature
Conservancy magazine, I understand that this moth is globally rare and
has recently been found in Kentucky grassland.
Eryngium yuccifolium is an important species in our GA upper piedmont
mafic "glades". Thanks! James Sullivan
