Re: Increase in Seed Prices (OUCH!)

Joan,

I don't know what causes people's tempers to flare at seemly innocuous
statements.  But I do know that recently there have been major flame wars on
the other lists I subscribe to.  Probably due to the position of the planets
or pesticides in the water supply or an alien plot to set us at each others
throats so they can take over (ala that great Twilight Zone episode).

We choose to be on this list to learn and share.  There is nothing wrong with
correcting another's misconceptions or misinformation politely, in fact it is
a kindness.  But opinions are merely feelings expressed with words and
feelings are neither good nor bad, they simply are.  The information that
elicited the feeling/opinion may be erroneous, but the feeling/opinion is
not.

Let's be gentle with each other.  

The late summer grasses have turned brown and the tiny white asters are
floating over the fields like banks of clouds.  The ironweeds, Joe Pye weeds,
and goldenrod are finished for the year.  I will miss them.
