reading as much as I can find about burning, mowing , etc. Unfortunately, my

THAT'S ODD WE DO LOTS OF BURNS IN THE CHICAGO METRO AREA. WHILE SOME VILLAGES
HAVE SOME "WEIRD" REGULATIONS WE HAVE NOT BEEN TOTALLY PROHIBITED FROM BURNING
IN ANY AS OF NOW.

so mowing is my only option. I have two
questions about this. When is the best time to mow; fall or early spring?
How high should I mow? I saw one author who recommended mowing 12 inches
high. Obviously, my regular lawn mower won't work but I'm not sure what
kind of machine I could use if this is the correct height.

YOU NEED A ROUGH CUT MOWER OR BRUSH HOG. SOME RENTAL PLACES WILL HAVE SMALLER
WALK BEHINDS THAT CAN BE SET THIS HIGH. CONTACT ME OFF THE LIST WITH MORE
INFORMATION AND MAYBE I CAN LET YOU KNOW OF A LOCAL RENTAL PLACE. OTHERWISE
CONTACT US. WE CAN BRING OURS OUT BUT WE ARE A CONTRACTOR AND NEED TO CHARGE.

  Any suggestions? >>
