Re: passion flower fruits


When I was in Brazil a few years ago, Brazilian friends prepared 
passion fruit drink by blending the scooped out pulp of, I presume 
P. edulis, with water and an extraordinary amount of sugar, without 
which the drink would have been quite tart. 

The structure of the fruit and pulp is quite similar to that of 
mayapple, so a mayapple jam recipe might work well.
