I had a similar experience here in Maryland this year. I planted 12 acres of
switch grass and a mixture of grasses and forbs-then we had the drought that
lasted all summer. The only plants that seemed to benefit were the morning
glory and poision ivy. I am hoping that next spring I will see some of the
plants I wanted. There was alot of small grasses growing (switch and blue
stem and india) an alot of forbs (black eyed susan and Daisys and queen annes
lace and sunflowers) but alot of the weeds. I sprayed Plateau on all but the
switchgrass (as it might kill it). Am waiting on the results. I won't be
able to check my mail for a week, but will try to next weekend. Good luck ,
Anita
