frost
day for Napa was March 1st and it was accurate about 75% of the time. But it
sounds like most people around here plant much later than that, like late
April or early May. Do you know the reason for this? Or did I just get some
bad information from the Farm Bureau?

Gar,
Even though last frost is over, soil still has to warm up. If you have 50
degree soil temps, it takes a while longer.
