Ok...I tilled in the compost, added some fertilizers and other
"nutriments",expanded the patch as much as i could without getting caught,
and we're in the middle of applying 2-3 inches of SNOW ! I don't recall
reading about the snow part....anyone know the long range summer's forcast
for this year in the Northeast ? Hoping its not another one like last year
.....I'd really like to give Scott a run for his money this year. Waiting
out
 the SNOW ?! on Long Island,New York.........G

Well, snow will help start the decomposition and releasing the nutrients
without washing them out. It will also apply a little nitrogen of it's own.
Good thing it wasn't growing season up hear yet, had 70 mph winds yesterday.
Interesting putting down Greensand in 70 mph winds. I will plant within the
next 7 days.

Good Luck
