It seems that we all talk about getting our soil test and amending our soil
according to the recommendations. PH has been talked to death but it is
only part of the puzzle. I would be interested in seeing what recommended
levels different labs recommend for giant pumpkins. I would bet that there
are difference. I have just sent my sample in for analysis, I don't know
 their recommended levels?

Ideally state you PH, Phosphorus and Potash. I do not want to get into a
debate about the micronutrients but if you want to share the info I am sure
 it would also be interesting.

I think this is better than trashing pumpkin sites, coordinators and
 organizations.

Even if you ask for Pumpkin Soil tests they seem to only generalize of the
Micronutrient level needs. I don't think there is any data out there for
Pumpkins when it comes to that. I have been concentrating on building up
Micronutrients and Microbial levels the last three years.
