RE: Major jump in seed prices................


I know the exchange rate has been hurting our northern neighbors but I
didn't realize it had gotten this bad.  This is more like pesos than
Canadian dollars.  What were these seeds that went so high?  Has anybody
contacted the people from Guiness yet?  That should be worth publishing in
their book.  $17,000 Canadian for a seed of any kind has to be a record.  I
guess the weighoff prize money will be good this year in Canada.  Some
growers kid is going to find him or herself going to a community college
this fall instead of that big 4 year university I'll bet.
