Come now guy's, let's be reasonable, has anyone heard of Howard refusing a pumpkin group from selling
seed for the cause ??? Even though the prices have skyrocketed, I'm sure he never has gotten anywhere
close to the prices I have seen this spring for seed. Lets look at some of the wording

Trademarks come to represent not only actual wares and services, but the reputation of the producer
A registered trademark can be protected through legal proceedings from misuse and imitation.
Howard Dill Enterprises, Windsor, Nova Scotia, Canada owns a U.S. patent "DILL'S ATLANTIC GIANT" for the pumpkin variety. This certificate of Plant Variety Protection is to grant Howard Dill Enterprises, as provided by Law, the right to
exclude others from selling the variety, or offering it for sale, or using it in producing a Hybrid or different variety there from
The above rights are valuable properties of Howard Dill Enterprises
The only companies and pumpkin growing organizations authorized to use my trademarks "ATLANTIC GIANT" and "DILL'S ATLANTIC GIANT" are those authorized directly by myself and Howard Dill Enterprises. I have always sought to keep the prices for my seed reasonable .

Really with these excerpts, is he really asking for anything other than the respect of being asked to use something that belongs to him by law. I know if it was me,
I wouldn't be near the ambassador he has been to this sport. I personally take my hat off to him. Please give him the respect he deserves & earned.   Bill Van

Gordon the last post to this subject, got me kicked off the list for three months last fall, hope this one doesn't as I know the facts put forward will upset some of the  people who really don't want to give credit where credit is due. Howard Dill & Howard Dill Enterprises.
