Tilling
Thank the Lord for good weather on Sunday! Here in Central Ohio, we are
seeing weather in the 70's this week, (of course my office is currently in
the 80's, that's what I get for being a State Employee).
Got 1600 sq. ft of patch tilled yesterday! I even got a small garden (200
sq. ft...maybe) tilled for the pumpkin widow. I plan on placing some soil
amendments and tilling them into the patch this afternoon. Hope to put up
fence this week to thwart last year's vandals. (Razor wire and machine gun
nests are going in next week)
I also wanted to publicly thank all the growers who have sent me seeds for
my first official growing season. (I consider last year merely a learning
experience.) Too many good seeds to plant, makes the decision that much
harder, but also more fun. Also want to thank Howard Dill for making this
all possible. I think it is a good idea to point new growers to his seeds
rather than automatically giving them seeds. Sounds like they are just as
good, or better, than some of our own seeds.
Good luck to everyone for a great season.

Going for 1500...but 600 is the short-term goal.
