Patchwork questions
Janet, I'm REALLY sorry about the grapes. Those are Thompson Seedless?
We had a single vine here at home, but David inadvertently administered
the coup d'etat a few years back, so we're limited now to seedless red
grapes, whose name I don't know, and the inevitable Concord. The hail
seems not to have harmed them.
Wish I could 'hang out and count the days to planting time.' The plot
where I will grow has a huge crop of waist-high grass, plus that
wide-leafed weed with the woody roots. I and the trusty spade whack away
almost daily since I must get most of it cleared bfore I plant, since I
have utmost faith in the plants' ability to move faster than I once they
get in the ground. Oooh, I'm excited! Good luck - I'll meet you at Half
Moon Bay if not sooner. Kathie
