I am saddened to report that Atlantic Giant Grower Richard van Grinsen died
this week in an automobile accident.  Richard was a regular exhibitor at the
Ottawa GPC weigh-off site.  He placed 27th in Ottawa last year with a
474.5lb pumpkin.

Our deepest sympathies go out to his family.  May he rest in peace.
