RE: Cayenne Pepper

I was hesitant to bring this up, but ...If you want to keep other animals
out of your territory...mark it! You know, like a cat. If your patch is
private enough, you can do it anytime. If you have close neighbors as I do,
you need to do it at night...late at night. You don't have to change
anything through the season as Deb suggested, but you do have to keep up the
marking (about once a week or so). This is a little harder for you women
out there, maybe your boyfriend or husband can help.

the thing you have to remember about keeping critters out of your garden
is that no matter what you put out around your garden if you don't move
it and change stuff ( add or deleate something ) they loose fear of it i
have a friend that tied his dog near the garden it kept the deer out for
a week or so the deer learned that the dog was on a chain and that he
could only chase them a short distance sop they walked a few feet
farther away than the dog could reach on the chain moveing the doghouse
and a longer chain slowed them up but didn't stop them just sharing a
true story deb
