Potato bug

I don't reserve because I never pay to go fishing, just show up and look
for an empty spot.
Half Moon Bay weighoff on Oct. 8, I believe. Do you know the date of the
Elk Grover? Salinas?
The patch is starting to look good, what I've done of it so far. Three
characters especially give me a run for the money: Timothy, Doc and
Rock. Doc is everywhere. Rock is everywhere. Timothy has taken a stand
dead center of the patch. Me and the spade do what we can, and the
showers allow me to work longer without too much dehydration. Yesterday
I nailed a couple more of Glenn's cousins, those short stubby segmented
critters, and a tiny centipede. Made the acquaintance, and I hope the
friendship, of another cat. The Canada geese continue to raise a ruckus,
drowning out the peacocks. Back to the patch!
