After the above statement why should I be nice to you to learn more?
It is that kind of attitude that keeps me away from most shows.
I'll just take my squash to the back of  the bus & be quite......And I'll
keep my pumpkins back there to......

Paul,

Your choice - but that does not solve the problem.  I think if one looked back into New England Pumpkin Growing they would see Hugh Wiberg's "Squmpkin" was an early name given to a pumpkin X squash that Hugh grew.  It made national news and was promotional - but it did not fit into what was promotional for the long run and the thinking changed.  I also feel people in the drivers seat do the driving.  Perhaps its time to let someone else do the driving.  That's all I'm saying - so be nice.

Gee- I remember reading somewhere ( I can't think of it right now) that
Hugh's largest was 100+ lbs until he had one that was accidently crossed
with a HUNGARIAN GRAY.
If what you say is true why was the hungarian grown?..........

Paul,

I don't know and don't care - all I'm saying is that, perhpas its time to let someone else do the driving!
