Re: GPC Squash Determination
I THINK that andrew got close to it...but i'd make a
few changes...
1 If it looks like squash and for those who have seen
a true squash know what I am talking
about( its so obvious), its a squash.
2 If its ORANGE only its a pumpkin. (I'm with the
grandkids on this one)
3 If theres any doubt about whether its a squash or a
pumpkin, its a squash or a something else, i don't
care what you call it - but it's not a pumpkin.
It obvious that there is not majority consensus
on what should be what- that there are 3-4 general
ideas on how people think things should go- with some
variations.
I think the current rules
are fine... and if there was a vote - and if it meant
something (maybe it would and maybe it wouldn't)-
there wouldn't be a majority to change them.
As i've said before...The current rules just need to
be understood and enforced by all... education (not a
new
rule) is the answer....
I'm glad we could have this discussion and that now
you
all agree with me... the case is closed ! LOL! :)
just kidding...
so has anybody bothered to email their opinion to
anyone on the comittee ?
just curious....
just my 3 cents worth. (they bumped it up due
to inflation)
