re: AG Color Genetics
Joe-
in 2000 I grew a 523 Hester (469 Hester x 801.5 Stelts
Brett had the 523 listed as - great shape, pale,
orange
16.6% heavy.)
The fruit from this plant started out as green female
flowers (not yellow as most typical AG's.)
as they grew they were more green than typical AG's
but not as green as a field pumpkin. They all
turned a nice orange color by late summer.
they also had longer than normal stem.
the fruit ended up all being longer and flater
than a normal AG.
so there are some seeds out there that already
have at least some of what you are experimenting
with.
