I was wondering if anyone on the list had any problems ordering any of the
products Gurneys sells. Six to seven weeks ago I ordered a heating cable for
my pumpkins and even though I called twice, sent a few emails, and I was told
it was in stock twice it is not due to be shipped until the 15th of April. I
find that is unacceptable and extremely poor business practice. I am curious
how far ahead of time that one needs to order anything in order to get the
item in time for the seasons use. When I talked with a very nice young lady
over the phone she was unable to tell me why this had occurred in regard to
my order or if she could rectify the problem. She thought it was as
ridiculous as I did. At this point I'll be amazed if I get the cable at all.
I find it hard to imagine that in the last six weeks my $25.00 order could
not have been picked off the shelf, packaged and sent to me. Has anyone else
run into this situation with Gurney's.............?
It is better to have planted pumkins and floundered than never to have
planted pumpkins at all.
Respectfully,
Frank O'Rourke
I have not had any trouble with them so far.
