Deb, one thing more:
If you can control the audience (and it won't take too long to figure
out), allow for questions during the talk instead of waiting until the
end. Kids who NEED to get an answer from you won't hear a word you say
until they get their question answered. But do this only if you can then
get back on track with the basics.
