Alan R. If you wanted to take a slight detour at the intersection of 80/81 and go north to the canadian boarder then cross into Canada and then
scoot down the 401 to 416 north to Ottawa, I am only 20 miles up the 416
 from the 401 (should be no more than 350 mile detour one way)
