RE: Decision Time

Wouldn't have thought about that last one Kathie...good idea. It would save
a bunch on postage!

Kurt,
You get your seeds in various ways:
1. Monitor the list and when seeds are offered, contact the offerer. Be
prepared to send a self-addressed stamped bubble pack to fellow
Canadians, a self-addressed bubble pack and about $2 for postage to
statesiders.
2. Join one or more of the growers organizations and participate in
raffles.
3. Attend pumpkin-growing seminars and participate in the raffles.
4. Buy a few seeds from Howard Dill at:
Howard Dill Enterprises
RR#1
Windsor, Nova Scotia
Canada B0N 2T0
He - the creator of the Atlantic Giant variety - is legendary for his
honesty, courtesy and helpfulness.
5. Email some of the growers on the list who are near you, or who have
been friendly to you, or whom you admire for their wisdom, wit or
weigh-off results and ask if they would be willing to share seeds, and
if so what are their instructions for you.
6. Participate in the secret santas, round robins, and similar events
that occasionally spice up our lives.
7. Take self-addressed bubble packs with you when you attend weigh-offs
in your area and give them to whoever seems willing to send you seeds.

Good luck!
Kathie
