RE: Looking forward to 2003

Michel,

Tell me more about the Belgium weigh-off. When is it? Where is it? Is
there a web link for more information? I would love to have more then just
one weigh-off to go to over here.

thanks,
owen

Carlos, Owen and all other European growers,
I think we should all seriously consider the
other Belgium european weigh-off this year too
if any of us grows a huge one.

I personally plan to bring my biggest pumpkin to
Ludwigsburg this year but I don't think I'll enter
it officially. I need to find out more info before making
that decision though.

The Germany Giant Pumpkin Growers Association will
soon be registered but not in time to have our own
weigh-off for this year. Afterwards it would be great
to be affiliated with the WPC and/or the other international official
weigh-off organizations and then we can increase the prize money as well.
Just my two cents worth and I hope all of your soils warm up quickly. Michel
in Germany

Owen,
you are thinking in Oct 4th German Contest, but I am thinking in meeting you
with your huge deep orange blocky nice looking pumpkin in Seegraben European
Contest Oct 12th. See you there. Way to go!

Wish the best weather for everybody this summer.

Carlos aka Don Quijote
