RE: Looking forward to 2003/UK contest

Chris,
Please keep in touch with me since I've been working on the Germany
weigh-off and would much rather promote the Belgium weigh-off than
the Austrian one for the european championship.
Maybe off-list would be better.

I would be interested in European weigh off in Belgium, it's not so far from
the UK, especially if I grow a big one!

I am helping to set up a new weigh off here (will send details to list in
due course) prize money is currently around #2000 (GPB) = $3200, with 1st,
2nd and lucky dip prizes, plus special prize for a 1000+lber.
I am not entering it, so any UK growers want an entry form let me know.
You'll stand a great chance of winning something! It will cost #10 to
register and you'll get a pack of organic feed sent to you for this fee.
We will probably be holding the event in Hertfordshire come October. Also,
if anyone knows a good way of approaching people with the weighing equipment
we'll need.... get in touch. I hope you will be interested in entering
Alun..

sorry if this clutters up the list!

Chris
