I am currently using an old Merry Tiller that I have had around for years. The old girl does get the job done though.
After turning over the soil in my patch last fall the old girl stop running. But she did not quit until after the job was finished. And then she just stopped.
As things turned out she had lost a valve seat and could not breath. The poor old girl just could not run like that. But after pulling her engine and tearing it down the problem was quickly discovered and repaired. And so now the old girl is back at her old job again.
She may be a little older than she once was, but I can tell you that the old girl sure knows how to till.
