Just an FYI in response to your expectations...

Yes, this is a giant pumpkin growing website where one can learn a great
deal on the subject.  

But the fact of the matter is that this is a group of friends joined by the
common bond of growing giant squash (all giant pumpkins are technically
squash, a friendly little battle with this group.)  We often post things
that are marginally on topic, or even completely off-topic.  

We will help any grower who asks questions, but look VERY poorly on anyone
who comes in and bashes our friends.

Please take this under advisement in your decision of whether or not to stay
on this list.  We would appreciate no more accusations or one-up digs.  This
is a family oriented list, as there are many young growers who participate
as well.  The moderator will not hesitate to kick anyone off the list for
misconduct.

With that, I hope you can learn from the growers on the list, and I hope you
can contribute as constructively as possible.

am hoping so anyway.

And, Andrew, I LEFT BigPumpkins.com because an on going pattern of 
harassment.  Let us not see it here, ok?

And, Andrew, I don't consider your post on this thread to be constructive.  
Do you grow giant pumpkins?  Because if you do I would appreciate some of 
your friendly knowledge and advise on the topic.

You know, it is funny that a person can spend some of his or her free time 
visiting a pumpkin growing website and not always get much in the way of 
useful information on the topic.  Oh posts are made but not always on topic.

  And like I said I am hoping that will not be the case here.
