RE: New York Pumpkin Story

Great for you Bill.

I have a friend who, unfortunately or fortunately, not sure which, lost his
job about a month ago. He started writing songs, a long passion of his, and
has won several small competitions and is competing nationally.

My point here is, I hope this helps turn your passion into a reality you can
really enjoy. And, I hope the next pumpkin you take to New York will be a
world record. You deserve it for all the wonderful things you have done!

Subject:	New York Pumpkin Story

Many of you sent me notes about the pumpkin I took to New York shortly after
September 11, 2001. Growing giant pumpkins is in my blood as is writing. One
of my dreams was to get published and some day be a writer. A magazine in
New
York City saw some of my pictures then read the Pumpkin Story. They loved it
and wanted to share it with their readers for the fourth of July.
This is a writers magazine called Skyline,
I know many of you also are writers (I think it might be from dreaming about
growing the biggest pumpkin in the world). Several pictures I took and poems
I wrote will be featured in this magazine along with an interview with Joe
Woodall who is coauthoring the New Chicken Soup book due the first of the
year called "Chicken Soup for the Hero's Soul"
The story I wrote is going to also be included in Joe's Chicken Soup book.
Wow I finally get to share it with New York and America!
If you are interested in the magazine it would be best to pre order because
of all the
advertising that is going into this issue, you may run the risk of it
running
out of stock.
The links are included below and if you are interested in any advertising I
have included that link too. (The rates are really good!)
Thanks for all your help learning to be the best
