With 875 sq.ft. you could do 1 or 2 depending on who you are talking to.
Personally I think 400-500 sqft per plant is fine, I know Andrew Papez has
grown HUGE pumpkins in smaller plots & I grow in 400-500 sqft
plots.........Paul
