Re: seaweed

Brian, here's a little story from history that's related to your question.

In 70 AD, the Roman Empire marched on Jerusalem and conquered it. The Emperor hated the Jews so much back then that he wanted their holy city to never be remembered again, so he erased the name Jerusalem from all the maps in the empire and renamed the area Palestine (the Roman word for "Philistine"-- the arch enemy of the Israelites, who were completely exterminated centuries earlier by the Assyrian Empire. This was intended to be an insult to the remaining Jews that escaped the emperor's grasp). Then he buried the city, or at least some of it. THEN, (now that you have the context, here's the main point) he salted the land for miles aorund, so nothing would grow. And NOTHING grew for a couple of centuries. It was desolate.

Sooooooo... wash the salt out ouf that seaweed, cuz you want that pumpkin to grow, this year and next!!

Hello list,
Would rinsing the seaweed from salt water help or hinder the pumpkin
plant? I know that adding Epson salt to the patch helps in building
chloroform. Is this the same type of salt?
Thx,
Brian
